GENERAL INFORMATION
According to the World Fire Statistics Centre, more than 7 million fires occur annually in the world.
They
killed from 65 to 75 thousand mans. In twenty most developed countries, the total losses from the fires and the cost of fire-fighting come to 1% of the cost of
the gross national product.
Our website presents information on screens "Sogda" and devices based on them, which
are highly effective means for protection
against the attack of heat radiation and flame of fires.
The screens "Sogda" have been developed on the basis of patented method
for attenuating heat flows.
The screens "Sogda" are capable to protect effectively against
the heat radiation even on strong fires by reducing the density of heat flow to safe values.
These screens also protect from the direct flame attack. The use of
them make it possible to increase the effectiveness of extinguishing
of fires and performing
rescue-and-reconditioning works on the fires.
The heat- and flame-protective properties of screens “Sogda” have not analogue:

their protective

Pioneering trials of protective properties of
experimental samples of screens «Sogda» were carried out in 1999 in Uzbekistan. In 2003, the designers of screens
«Sogda» established "Yong'inTex" (LLС) and continued works on improving the screens «Sogda» and
the devices based on them, as well
as works on developing new models of screens and screen-based devices.
The screens «Sogda» and the devices based on them
have repeatedly
been tested on fire-tactical exercises in Uzbekistan. They have been applied during the extinguishing
of real fires, including the extinguishing of fire on a gas-gusher in Uzbekistan. At present, "Yong'inTex" is the manufacturer of screens «Sogda» and devices
based
on them in Uzbekistan.
In 2007, a Russian businessman V.Yu. Shimko established "SpecPozhTech" (LLC), which concluded
a licensing agreement with the patent holder M.H.
Usmanov to manufacture and sale of screens «Sogda» and devices based on them in Russia, as well as
to sale them in some other countries.
With the technical documentation of "Yong'inTex", "SpecPozhTech" put in production the screens «Sogda» and
the devices based on them, and started works on
their promotion to the Russian market of fire-equipment (advertising, participation in exhibitions of fire-equipment, demonstration of their fire-protective
properties). The screens «Sogda» and the devices based on them have been received a high appraisal of Russian fire safety experts. At present,
"SpecPozhTech"
manufactures and sells the screens «Sogda» and the devices based on them in Russia.
The patented method for attenuating heat flows, which is used in
the screens «Sogda», and technical solutions implemented in these screens have great potential
in the field of fire safety of installations. For example, on
their basis, a method and device for dispersing gas clouds, which form as
a result of leakage of flammable and explosive heavy gases from above ground tanks,
have been developed. This device has not disadvantages of existing devices
for dispersing gas clouds (see “Devices based on screens”).
The screens «Sogda» and the devices based on them are able to significantly improve resistance of industrial facilities to the development of fire on ones,
and they are indispensable for extinguishing strong fires. Designers of screens «Sogda» and devices based on them are ready
to collaborate
with all interested organizations, industrial works and private
persons.
